2001 WRC Subaru

Sorry it's been so long guys. But I've been real busy with the whole med school thing...I graduate next month, so now I've got senior-itis and some time on my hands. Here's what I did while I was visiting Tokyo. I had none of my stuff from home so I had to be very resourceful and come up with ideas to make up for my lack of tools. For the most part it's done. I'm going to take it with me to the U.S. so I'm not putting on the antennas and mirrors so I can wrap it in bubble-wrap.

First time I've ever painted without primer...and boy do I like the result. Put a whole lot of clear coat on it. About 7 light coats over 3 days. And guess what...some decals still melted...damn ts-13. Oh well.

Thanks for those who helped me find the model shops down here! I'm taking home a kpgc110 that I got for about 10 bucks! Not to mention they got a mad max interceptor for like $25

Superb work, how did you achieve such a brilliant paint job without primer?

Re: 2001 WRC Subaru

Great work.Especially with the kit decals.
In the right setting that would look like a real car.
