07 STi or 06 Evo

I want to know which is better. I know people say they like the Evo better because it looks better which i agree, but i also like the interior of the STi over the Evo.

They are both just as fast from my understading, but from what ive herd from people is that the Evo is boosting about 26psi stock while the STi is around 16psi. Yet both are about just as fast, Showing me that the STi has more engine power if you want to call it that then the Evo which relies more on the turbo to move the car??? Wouldent you be just be able to make some turbo mods to the STi to make it boost more and blow the Evo out of the water? Im trying to learn as much as possible about both. If i seem to have no idea what im talking about please feel free to correct me.

Which car has better features over the other? Like i said up top, people tend to lean more towards the Evo just becasue of the look. Lets say both cars look exactly alike, Which would you choose, and why??

I took a buddy of mine who is an Evo fan with me to test drive the 07 STi, and after driving it he fell in love with it and prefered it over the Evo.

I new here and looked around for a post like this and couldent find one, so sorry if there is one on this topic already.

Thanks in advance on any info you can provide for me.

Re: 07 STi or 06 Evo

the Evo is More like 19lbs of boost, but the reason that the STi has less boost and similar power is due to it being a 2.5 over the Evo 2.0 the Evo is a sportier feeling car while the STi is more gt (in comparison only extremely fast! and much sportier than most cars on the road) the Evo power band is more on off as where the STi is more progressive due to more displacement. If you do mainly track driving you'll love the Evo but for day to day the STi wins out with more comfort, also the STi comes with a driver controlled center differential the Evo doesn't though (but the Evo X has computer controlled everything and should be nothing short of amazing on the track)

Re: 07 STi or 06 Evo

Also to awnser your question I would be seated in the STi due to it's Driver Changeable Center Diff, better feature content and the fact that not only is it extremely fast but also able to be a comfortable daily driver, and if it's power you want ether car works fine, both have been tuned up to and over 800hp (with a fully build engine that is) So thats my 2cents
