No electricity!
Lumina 93', V6, 3.1.
I had a starter problem so I took it out (disconnecting neg. end of battery), fixed it, and install it back in. I connected all the wires and I conneted neg. cable to battery last. Now everything is off, the only thing I can turn on are the head lights. No inside lights, no lights on dashboard, no radio, no underhood light, everything is dead. I checked the fuses on the right and left sides of the engine comparment and in the glovebox; all are ok. Can anyone help me with this? |

Re: No electricity!
sounds like a fuse link problem. The fuse links power everything in the car, and are hooked to the starter, same terminal as the postive battery cable. Maybe left unhooked, or possably blown. If they are bad (someone on this forum once described them to) feel like a soggy noodle.

Re: No electricity!
Yes...I'd guess you burnt a fuseable link, or there is a primary wire "hiding" that didn't get put back on the starter....it happens sometimes. Take a close look at your work...

Re: No electricity!
Ok, it turns out I forgot to connect a fuse. I had forgotten since I took it all apart too long ago
