Eclipse falls...

Coming home from seeing "Undisputed" - which by the way is a great flick! Im pulling out of the movies and im at a light with some white RS eclipse with Altezzas ahead of me. Well after the light it breaks up into two lanes... and well, I didnt want to go slow so the light turns green and I start getting over for the second lane and speed up... I didnt want to be stuck behind the damn eclipse. Well the dude takes this as an "aggressive" move towards him and I can hear him speeding up... im thinking, awww shit are you serious? Before the guy even has a chance to react O/D is off and the whip is up at 6500 rpm and hes only a foot ahead of me... only because we were at a nice little turn, well after the turn it goes back to one lane and we "played" the whole way back towards my house. Finally the road opens back up into a two lane and I pass him with ease on the open straights...

We get to a light, guy looks over and sorta laughs... it was the "Ha you think you can beat me with that car" kind of look, I know the light well - turns green: good tire screech and im outta there, got him by a car length before he even realizes the lights turned green. Same thing at the next light, and the next... we got around some traffic and I was at the last light and I slide over into the right lane and hes to my left... I wink at his girl and ask if he always drives that slow - I think it made him mad, he threw a monster rev, you could tell he was pissed! So lights about to change and yet again, I get him out of the hole and upto 80mph before I call it and we part ways right after that.

Poor bastard, he got beat by the CRV!

(Which was why I actually slowed down in the corners, front tires are wearing thin and I dont want to see how far I can push it before it flips... and who cares, half way through the turn I gun it again and im right back with him - and then passing him)

Anyone who bought an RS model eclipse got ripped off big time! :hehehe:

Wellwe werent really racing racing... if we were I wouldnt have even bothered all the other times... but he pissed me off when I left the mall and no one else was around or in danger so we were just having a little fun.

But yeah, if we were actually racing... I wouldnt race if he had someone else in the car. But I wont have to worry about "actually" racing someone till spring time :finger:

Yea racing with your g\f in the car just isn't a good idea. I NEVER take my girlfriend racing cuz...
a) She doesnt want me to race myself "cuz its dangerous"... lol, which is really the reason I dont take her
b) I would really hate to get burned like hell with her there. that's just plain embarassing!
c) Like you said... I don't want people hitting on her. No me gusta.

Don't be so modest! We all know you could of had if you wanted. But his car was too slow to catch up and give you her number.

LMAO! I'm definately going to have to remember that one. It's a perfect explaination for why I won't let anybody else in my car when I race.

I would never race with anyone in my car, even if they wanted to ride. Too much liability.

I only let one person ride with me. He was kinda short, but real real strong. He had good muscle definition so when people wouldn't pay or people would get pissed about losing he could just step out of thec ar and end it fairly quickly. But then he moved for the year and I have to do the dirty work myself... But your definately right about not letting people ride with you.
When you get clocked doing 30 above the speed limit, it's an automatic ticket to court. When you get clocked doing 30 above the speed limit with a passenger, it's an automatic ticket to court with charges of attempted murder. I knew a guy that got charged like that. It was pretty sad. Oh well... life goes on. For most of us anyways.

True... not only that but it seems like the passenger gets fawked up the most in a wreck. I don't care if I get myself into a wreck, but if someone else is with me, shiet I don't wanna be responsible for what happens to passenger ya kno?

sparq you should copyright that move. I just got back from NOPI Nationals(yes pics will be up soon...i have over 300 to pic form).

Anyways, while I was going up there I came up behind this guy and his girl an auto v6 mustang in the left lane he was just cruising slow, not moving at any good rate of speed. So instead of tailgate him, I get over in the right hand lane to go around him. He then decides to gas up to try and cut me off before I get in front of him.

It was like a setup. So I gave him what he wanted. I cut right in front of him. Before I even got into the lane he already had his brights on and the bird in my rear view.

Like 5 minutes later he was apparently still pissed at what he let happen to himself. I move over into the right hand lane to let him pass because he finally seems like he wants to move. But he pulls up right next to me trying to get my attention. For a while I just ignore him, hoping he will just get over it. IT DOESN"T STOP!!!! So we are approaching the horizon of a steep hill and I look of wink at his girl and blow her a kiss. Then drop my car into 3rd, redlining the S.O.B. all the way down the hill losing him in my rearview.

About 45 minutes later I saw the same stang coming up behind me but it was too late cause my exit was right then to go to get my registration kit for NOPI's.

no honestly i don't understand why people don't realise that V6 stangs are slow (except this one dude who i met had a nitroused stang that could beat corvettes or so he said) i pointed out buyin a GT woulda been cheaper then he retaliated with where's the fun in that.............. ?

ok anyways V6's are slow and i proved it many a time if my volvo could beat your car it isn't fast altho my volvo had a turbo so thats not a fair statement but it works for me hahahaha no offense
