Re: finished civic
might I suggest that you take some time and read the tutorials provided in the car modeling forums. they will help you out emmensely. another way to get better is to just keep after it. practice makes good!!! don't lose hope. from what I can see, you did a fine job on the paint. get yourself a car that doesn't include a motor, or atleast a good kit that does. might I suggest the line of monogram early model mustang kits. I have yet to be disappointed by any of them (aside from the fox body cars).

Re: finished civic
the funnt part is i did a great job on the engine detailing and stuff everything inside the car came out great too. but just the last 5 min of the model things got a little out of order. but ill keep practicing. and the hardest thing i accomplished in this model is the painting without messing it up.

Re: finished civic
You no doubt got excited and rushed. Take your time. That's modeling's biggest challenge, and the greatest key to success.

Re: finished civic
Keep up the work. Its practice and practice, and spending lots of times on the forums reading and reading. I have read so much, and the cool thing about this hobby, is you can never stop learning!
I am on my fourth model, and I have learned the rushing part. My first model couldn't even be compared to yours because I wanted the finished product, but I didn't take my time which was a bad idea. Taking your time is the key. It took me 2 months to complete my third model and I still messed up on the front lights. Goodjob though, keep up the work, remember, practice and reading! |
