Oil level
I want to know how much oil everybody puts in there p10 . I have been putting three qts in and its a good level. The book says to put more than three. Is the dipstick off a little or what?

I use 3qrts also. It'll be in the middle of high and low; u can add more if u want, but u'll end up with an extra bottle half full.

Recommended oil capacity is 3 5/8 qts of oil with a new filter. That is almost a full 4 qts. If you are replacing your filter every oil change then you are practically running a high reving 4 cylinder almost an entire qt low at all times. That is not very good on the internals.
If you are not replacing the filter every change, then you only need to put 3 3/8 qts in. But I always put a fresh oil filter on every change.

Nismo PC was right on with that answer. when you put that new filter on, it's not holding any oil, so, when you put the 3 1/2 qts in it, it seems high, but, after it runs for 10 minutes, it goes down. You should definately be running more then 3 though. And you should change the filter every time... If you do 3 1/2, then that half comes in handy on your next change, cause you only have to buy 3 qts, not that big of a deal..
