Sounds like a head gasket, but while you have it open pull the pistons and ring it too.Oil is getting past the rings to get burnt in and make smoke...... save you a big headache if you replaced headgasket and it still smoked......

do a compression test. you can buy the tester for like 30 bucks.

do the test and figure out what the numbers are (make sure the engine is warmed up). Then do a second test but before you do it add a tee spoon to each cylinder before you test and if the compression goes up then most likely its your piston rings or pistons. if it doesn't go up then its more likely your HG.

Unhappy

I have 161k on the clock now...this winter I decided I needed a head rebuild. I can't keep my engine block clean it will just ever so slighty cover with oil again after about driving for a week. I figure i'll get all new head seals and a new head gasket and I should be good to go. I've already done my valve cover and distrubtor gasket so i'm running outta things that are easy to replace at this point. But I'm told at this milage its pretty expected, still gotta give honda credit they built one heck of a little motor for goin this long hehe.
