1979-1981 Camaro Berlinetta

Hi all, not sure if this qualifies as a muscle car or hot rod. i bet the Z28 version of the car would and that's what i started out with, but i wanted to build my girlfriend a model of her first car which was a Red 1981 camaro berlinetta with silver interior. The original kit has a spoiler, hood vent, fender vents, and T-tops which were "removed". i also removed the "flair" on the front bumper since it doesn't exist on a berlinetta. i have a little bit more to go on this one. hope you like it.

THis is what the kit is supposed to look like. its a Z28

Interesting conversion, going from a Z28 to a berlinetta. It's like something I would like to do also. The red is fantastic, what brand is it? The interior is super clean, very impressed with how you made it. Are the armrests stock or did you make those? very nice work.

The red is Tamiya Italian Red (TS-8) over white primer. The interior is box stock as far as parts are concerned. it all came in the revell kit. all i added was flocking. i am going to add seatbelts soon too. i just have to do more research about what color they will be. here are some pics of the car on the chasis.

Nice!
I always liked the clean version of these cars better than the loaded ones.

Any progress on the Beetle?

Looks stellar! Is this complete in your sig? I've not noticed a completed thread for it. It looks so good, though, I can hardly wait to see more.
