Roadmaster wagon sway bar installation

I tried to install an Impala SS rear sway bar but the trailing arms are too far apart. Is there a way to install this bar or do I need a bar from another model, or....? The trailing arm has the hole for installation so I gotta believe that something goes there. Thanks, Ken

The Buick wagon has different wheel spacing than sedans like the Impala SS. There may not be a bar available for the rear of the wagon.

I did talk to Patrick and he directed me to nolimitsmotorsports.net and they sell a Hotchkis "Wagon Only" sway bar.

just wondering what made you want to replace the rear sway bar???

The wagon didn't come with a rear sway bar. I did put an Impala SS sway bar on the front, but, the rear LCAs are farther apart on the B-body wagons and wouldn't fit. I did look at the Addco sway bar, but, I'm not crazy about the attachment method. Ken

I ordered a sway bar from Hotchkis. I'll update you when I've installed it and test driven it.

At long last, I installed the Hotchkis sway bar. The major problem I ran into, other than locating the bar, was the tailpipe interference. On the right side it is closer to the rear axle to stay away from the gas tank. My local exhaust shop repositioned it and the sway bar is attached. The station wagon doesn't lean so much anymore and I'm happier. Ken
