Q: For DX > Si Seat Swap, what seats fit???

If I have an 89 DX with any Si seats fit, or just the 88-89 or just 89s? Or if I get the rails to will any of them fit?

Just 89 seats will fit.. I tried a couple different seats in my 91 DX and I would up just getting 92 Si seats and custom welding rail extentions.. (I got the seats for really cheap)

Say I go to the junkyard, how can I be sure the car is an 89? I know 88-89 had the screws in the corners and the big mouth bumpers, and seatbelts on the pillar and not door (or was that just the electric ones???), but I'm not sure I could tell the difference between 88 and 89?

Check the VIN plate..

i have 95 integra ls seats in mine. they took minimal modification to work and they look great

del sol seats should fit.

When fitting stuff that isnt stock you gotta keep an open mind and remember that nothing is direct bolt in, everything requires a tad of modification to fit.

Del Sol seats will not bolt up to a 88-91 floor. You have to take the rails off and weld them to the del seats frame rack. So its not like a bolt in affair.

88-91 Floors are all the same, so any Si seats will bolt right in. I had a 90 hatch with 91 Si seats, had no problems. I also had some 92 DX seats that bolted up fine. You can use CRX Si seats because they sit low like the Del Sols.
