Re: belt making noise

Maybe just need a little tightening.

How old are the belts on your car?

Re: belt making noise

When does the belts make noise usually? My mechanic told me that belts can sometimes squeel during a cold start up because the lack of heat causes the belts to harden up slightly making it more prone to slipping. My car had the same problem on startup.
