Anyone have one of these? This one has the 18R-C engine in it. I got this from my grandparents since the headgasket is supposed to be blown. At the moment I'm going to replace the headgasket and drive around with the stock setup but down the road I'm planning on either going with an aftermarket Toyota powerplant or Nissan since I'm a Nissan fanatic at heart. If I go the Toyota route it will be a fully built 3TC with a T3/T4 turbo or maybe even T3/60-1... but that's getting crazy lol. For the drivetrain I'd get the first gen Celica tranny since that thing is nearly bulletproof. I believe those are supposed to be made of cast iron. If I go the Nissan route I'll use either an SR20 or my spare VG30E mated to either an 87-89 300zx turbo 5-speed or a 90+ 300zx TT 5-speed. It'd be sweet if I could fit the VG30E in there since its a 3 liter V6 so I'd have tons of torque. I think it will fit but I won't know until I pull the old engine out. It will take a while to get it all built whichever way I go but will be really fun in the end. Any input on all of this?
