swapping 90 B18A1 into hb

that's what me and my friend are planning to do if he buys this 90 LS. it's being parted out, but the guy parting it out said he could have it for 500. the engine, suspension and brakes are in good shape, just some of the body panels have been sold already.

anyways will all b series trannies bolt on to different b series engines. the plan is to install the B18A1 motor with a B16A transmission. or is it even possible to maybe bolt a D16A6 tranny to it? and what axles should be installed?

B to B and not D to B...All B series motors and trannies are interchangeable...just make sure that you're getting a cable type tranny as suppose to a hydraulic one.:flash:

Just tell me when...I have a few diagrams laying around that would be of good use to you. Plus my experience of doing the swap...

Any b series motors/ trannys will work. However you can't swap b series to d series the bolt patterns are different. As for the swap , let me know how that goes i know a kid whose doing that swap soon and he may want me to help.
