Tamiya S2k-First Ever Model

This is my first ever model. I decided to get a s2000, one of my fav cars. Not sure what color to paint it yet,but heres some progress pics i have done so far.


The model just came in woot!!

thanks! yeah I guess you can say it looks familiar. I just didnt want to paint the mugen mf10 that came with the wheels. I am planning on using them on some other car i have in mind.

Somewhat familiar because of the double spoke action going on

btw, anyone know how to put those decals that come with the car? like any techniques to use? because i tried to put the one for the steering wheel and i failed on it lol.

Nice progress on this...looking good. You certainly seem well tooled up for your first model, and your interior is looking great. Please use more detail about the problem you're having with the decal though...as it helps everyone out.

General procedure is to dip into water for about 30secs (I leave it in until the decal just about slides off the backing paper when I try to move it) then move it into place. Remove any air bubbles then soak up excess water with tip of tissue or you can press down on it with a tissue. Apply Microsol with a brush for contoured surfaces.
