I think it may happen

I am going to go look at this tomorrow
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=530528

If everything checks out the Cobra could be gone sooner than I thought.

Nice car!

Engineered to perfection, translates to a pain in the @ss to work on

Do you think you'll miss the Cobra?

Yea but I have a great shop to take it to here in Austin. Plus its not like the 4.6DOHC isn't a PIA to work on.

To tell you the truth its a love hate kind of thing. I love the sound thanks to the Bassani X-pipe and catback. I wont miss how heavy and unbalanced it feels in the corners. As far as acceleration goes the Cobra may be faster in a straight line but M3 still has some kick in 5th gear and a higher top speed. Then there are all of the controlls on the dash which in the M3 are focused on the driver not the backseat.

I really look at it this way the Cobra was a good start for me but I have out grown it and something like the M3 is the next step for me. I will miss it just like I still miss my GT but I will be happier with the upgrade in the end.

Re: I think it may happen

I totally agree, the M3 is by far the better car.

Good choice, if I had to have one, that is the one I would want as well.
