Running the fan off the battery...
How long is it ok to run the fans when the engine isnt on? (Assuming the battery is in good condition)

Depends on how much current the fans draw.

On a brand new battery with a large reserve capacity, probably in the neighborhood of 4-6 hours. On a smaller battery or particularly large fan, maybe as little as a half hour.
