HEH By like 4 car lengths
was awesome, everyone was cheering for the honda, cuz mine looked fast
IN MY DX, took it to 45 in first, then all the way to like 80 something in second, and won in third, was hella fun
Then we had a 13 second integra type R there, all motor no turbo, smoked some stupid purpe mustang, heh

Can DX civics really go to 45 in first? Thats crazy if they can... I thought the gear ratios on my moms 88 accord were strange (55 or more in second, 90 something in 3rd, cant really remember)

I wonder why they make them so crazy? Good gas mileage? Or is it to make up for the lack of horsepower (my moms has like 90 or something i think mabey more *shrugs*)

My moms EX is in the 120 hp range, I know the 88-91 civic dx has around 92hp, but I doubt the guy was able to attain 45 in first without going above and beyond redline (which is 6,500 rpm). Even with the ZC swap I cant hit 45 in first, and the redline is 7. (although I rarely take it past 6, and most of the time shift around 3.5 to 4, and 5 if I kind of want to push it)

Also, just so you all know, I didnt perform the ZC swap, it was in car when I bought it, and I didnt even know it was a ZC until about a month after I bought car and me and a friend are checking out engine.

Also, I dont street race much, because I dont have money and I dont want to , and my car is my daily driver, and I need my car every day, and it is a major inconveinence to not have it.

LOL oops, what I meant to say, is I dont want to help along inevitable componet failure by making them work harder (like they have to do when you race, or go into the high RPM range alot)

the ZC came outta the Si-R civic's and crx's in japan and europe. they have 130hp and are DOHC non-Vtec engines.
