How to post Pictures using AF Gallery(wit screenshots)

I created this cause many of you seem to be having a problem with posting pictures on AF.

I find the easiest to use is AF Gallery, it's there for you free if your an AF member and you know it's gonna work with AF! So that is what this is based around.

Ok so the first question you might have is where is AF Gallery? The pick below shows the link to click highlighted in yellow. You click on that and all you will have to do, is sign-up... no big deal at all.

Ok so once you sign-up you will get a screen that looks like the next picture. Click on the Upload Photos link above that is highlighted in the picture.

That link will bring you to the next picture. This is where you obviously upload photos.

Choose Catergory: Here you want to choose member gallery and the one that is your AF handle. Later on you can create many sub-directories in your own like I have.

Photo to Upload: It's simple just browse to where the pic is stored on you computer and hit open. Tips(pics that are over 80K in size will not be loaded, also some file types don't work well. I advise you resize everything to 640X480 this keeps it under 80K and makes it not too large in a thread. Also stick with jpg and bmp formats, these always work)

After you have picked where to put the pic and which pick just hit the submit button on the bottom.

Once you hit submit it will take a few seconds or minutes depending and you will come to the next screen below. Here it will show you a preview of the pic you uploaded and where it will be stored. You can change the storage place if you made a mistake at this point also. Also you can add comments, description blah blah blah.

If everything is good just hit the process file button at the bottom and it will finish the processs so to speak .

Ok so now you have an uploaded a pic but how do you put it in a thread right?
Click the link up top that says my Gallery. You will get a screen looking like this.

This is my gallery, as you can see I have created multiple folders to keep organized. The pic I uploaded was put in Body Work Pics so I click on that link.

This brings you to a screen of all the pics in thumbnails size that are located inside that folder.

Pick the picture you want and click on it.

That will bring you to this screen.
All you have to do is move you mouse over the text under the pic and right-click. Now copy it and past it into your post and voila the pic will show up in your post

That is all there is too it.

Thanks a lot for that GTStang! But since I am a Newbie, could you please tell me how to add images to your signature (NB: What is an IMG Code?) and in your posts as well.
