Can i strap on a turbo?
I've got a 1991 camaro RS (305 TBI) and i want to know if i can put on a single turbo (big as i can) on my engine. I know it'll be a little hard on it, but other than normal wear-and-tear are there any other things that i should be aware of? Oh yea, also: what kind of turbo should i use? thanks -kyle

if your goning to put the biggest turbo you can you are going to need to put in new set of piston and rings rings that can handle the power. if you want the full affect you should get new valves and valve springs. mabey a stronger cam that will withstand abuse throught your RMP range. but if your only going to put a little turbo on you should still think about new rings just to be safe. enjoy your ride:evillaugh

Well
You shouldn't have a problem turboing the car as long as you do all o what the guy above suggested. You know heads, rings, injectors, ams, valves etc.. Now I hope you do understand since the car is N/A there might be some custom fabricating involved. Other then that prepare to go through the many problems that most people go through when turboing a car. But in theend it will be well worth it.
