Aveo LS 2005 - Door light
Hi: I have my Aveo about 10 days and I really love it.
Unfortunately, the red light in the panel (door open) doesn't turn off. Has anyone experienced this problem. I have made an appointment to take it to the dealer but it is kind of annoying to have that red light on at all times. Any help! thanks... |

I've never had that problem myself. have you made sure that ALL the doors are closed? sometimes, you have to open and close the door again o get it to clear. or maybe try slamming the door to see if that works. the doors are tricky.

I notice that the rear passenger door does that. You need to slam the door to turn out the dome lamp and the "Door Open" light. Front doors are ok. Check the switches on the door panel. If the door isnt pushing them, then the light is staying on.

My 04 aveo sedan has the same problem. the rear doors won't close all the way unless you close them hard.
