This little blue bugger was awaiting long awaited touch ups for a long time now.
It's a gunze model, which has been built mostly box stock, except I did some improvements (I like to call em that ).I raised the ride height at the back, put a golfbag behind the seats, added some of those little fly-like fastener thingies on it, blackwashes, drybrushes also, made a new windscreen out of clear plastic and added an exhaust that is true to life size. Some other parts have been forgotten, but that's most I can remember. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Up to the next one! Olivier |

Re: Finished: Austin Healey Sprite MKI AKA the bugeye
Nice Frog eye!
I think this one is far more interesting than the MG Midget. You did this it justice, very nice and clean build. I love the golf bag in the back, it's the kind of details that separates one model from the rest of the pack. Niclas |

Is this the Hi-tech kit? I just bought one 2 days ago from a guy in Brussels! Wasn't you was it?!?!?!? Can I see a close up of the golf bag please?

Re: Finished: Austin Healey Sprite MKI AKA the bugeye
Hey thanks for the great comments!
Well, stevenski, It wasn't from me, I m what sceptics call a box-hogger! It's not the high tech kit either, it's just the cheap version, without any engine. It's very basic, simple, yet effective I believe. as for the golfbag, I will take some pictures of it soon, it's not superdetailed , but gives the right effect! Olivier |

Wow, good job on such a cool little car! Awww...isn't it cute...well, more like endearing. Aren't those fasteners hard to put on?

Great work Oli! I love it. It does look right on, I'd shied away from these kits ebcause i didn't know if they would come out so well. You're model is just freakin' great!

Definitely a good looking Spridget. Have to love the cheekiest car ever to turn a wheel.

That came out great
. Nice touches to make it look real. They're really good kits, and hardly anyone builds 'em .This tempts me to get the stock version to accompany the club racer I built last year.

Very nice!
I've got a high tech TR-3 hiding in the closet... Maybe dig up some new wheels for my Tr-7...?
