Changing guage cluster

I know that this question was asked before( not by me) but it wasn't really answered as much I would have liked. Does anyone know of any websites that show you how to install a gauge cluster with tachometer in a 6th gen hatch?

INTRODUCTION

Would you like a new look for your dashboard? This is one way to get some points with your friends and at the shows.

APPLICABLE TO

96-00 Civic (All models)

MATERIALS NEEDED

Roll of plumbing strap (located at Home Depot/Lowes for a few dollars)

INSTALLATION

The new gauge cluster does not directly bolt into the Civic. However. with some creativity and plumbing strap you can fabricate an alternative. Cut a few strips of the plumbing strap down to about 1.5 inches long. Now you're set. Get to the wiring.

The wires in the plugs for the cluster need to be rearranged. The table below shows the wiring information for the cluster. It really should not be too difficult to figure out how to do the wiring.

PIN COLOR FUNCTION 96-00 CIVIC
