WIP - Rally car to the memory of Richard Burns

Hy all!
At first sorry, but my english is not so good!

So Richard Burns is dead!
Rest In Peace!
My idea is a rally car for his memory!
The kit is the Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC Montecarlo 05'
Here's the plan:
The colour is black, and the rims too(flat black)
The decals: Only the yellow subaru decals
And a white, or yellow inscription in the top of the hood
Like this:
"In Memoriam: Richard Burns
..........1971-2005"
(without the dots )
I'll buy the kit at this week, and start it!

Welcome to AF!

Yes, it is sad news that Richard has died. I have his 2001 championship car from Tamiya, I wanted to build it in black instead of blue.

Why don't you rather build one of the cars he drove instead, if you like I can supply you a list.

Thumbs down

It's not a bad idea, but I order the new Tamiya kit about 2 weeks ago! And this idea (make a memory car) is occurs to me at today!
So I haven't got any money for another kit at now!

I converted the Peugeot 206WRC to the 2003 NZ version, although it is not finished yet, it was the last time I saw him in action. Memories.....

Which one?

The Subaru WRC 2001 kit would be cheaper to buy, and would be one car that Burnsie drove.

2001 Rally of Great Britian Subaru. That's what I'm building. Still need to finish up the decaling and figure painting. Then it will be done.

Yep, that's one of about 10 of his cars I will have built by the time I am done. I will have cars representing every year he had a full drive in the WRC and I am working on adding the other years too.

Did any company ever do decals for the Lancer/Carisma Evo IV he drove on selected rallies in 1997? That was a different and very cool livery.

No, you say you’re going to buy the kit this week, and you say you’ve already purchased the kit, you need to decide which one it is, did you already buy it or not?
