WIP: Pontiac Firebird '78 Turbo

What the heck is in there

Closer...

Engine in stand

All pipes off

I have the engine almost done now. Few details left to do.
Rims are from some crx i think. I made them a bit wider.
Body will be shiny black with some matt black parts, like front bumper.

Today, i might put new pics of the engine here. I'll do some detailing first. Mainly oillines for turbo and some vacuum hoses and clamps for connectors.

Re: WIP: Pontiac Firebird '78 Turbo

you may want to upgrade to 5 lug rims before unleashing all that power!!! unless ofcourse it is a typical pontiac of that era running on only 5 of the 8 cylinders!! hahaha

tha's a big ass turbo that's for sure!!! what is it off of a mack truck?

I made that turbo. And yes, I know that those rims are missing one lug. But they were best i could find.
Also, more pics of the heart. Some painting is needed.

I added main power switch and couple gauges to interior. Im thinking whether to add la-radio and radar-detector to this. Allthough this is street legal drag car.
Also some reinforcements added to rear end. Some subframe connectors i have to add too.
Pics will come evening if my internet connection is working at home.

Re: WIP: Pontiac Firebird '78 Turbo

I would put the radio and the radar-detector in it, that way it would be easier to find cops to run away from

I made couple of changes to underside. Strengthened rear end. Scratchbuilt subframe connector, torsionbar and panhard rod.

Paint on...

I made power switch and two extra gauges. Radar detector and radio came along with the kit. Mic and wires added.
Krystal clear for lenses.

I wont be using targa tops. So I printed alot of stuff to show. Modelbox, adult mags, map, laptop with cds, cigarette box.
