Painting a Trilogy

Well, HLJ should have my F40 deliverd soon, they three sets that I orderd were shipped 2 days ago with SAL, so, hopefully they will be in this week.

So, my question is, colors for the Trilogy (F40, F50, F60/Enzo). I was thinking, black and red are too normal, blue is "meh". Yellow and White I am afraid to use. So, I was thinking, make a poll and ask AF, because they seem to know everything.

Re: Painting a Trilogy

you could try some cherry red, wine red, or some pearlecent grey based color

edit: have you thought about flat colors, like beige/yellow?

How about a nice two-tone. Like, deep burgundy/bronze/something on the majority of the bodywork, and gloss black on the roof and back section.
Here is an example of what I mean:

Re: Painting a Trilogy

Alot seem to like the gunmetal/light grey. The two tone looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure where I'd make the lines for it on the body. Possibly just the roof, then engine compartment lid.

I'd go with a darker silver, almost gum metal. But I would also spray the F40 red. Sorry, but that car in my mind just has to be red... I can only picture that body in Red...

Re: Painting a Trilogy

And how about doing Italian flag? So F40 must be red, F50 is the uglyest one so it can be green (not ordinary green but some nice perl/metalic one) and Enzo in pearl white.

I agree, it's an awesome idea to make an italian flag!

But if I built them, I'd probably make them all red... that might be not so unique, but Ferrari's look best in red.
