Tips

i need some tips on things i can train on (to paint i mean) copy like take a pic on a window and paint it can i lern something from it?

I did this for you and for nicecar who asked for a tutorial a while ago but I did'nt manage to finish it.



It's about what is in my head when I try to draw a car. I sometimes do that on the reference like I did it here for visualization, but usually nly in very hard cases when I feel very unsure.

Of course you can take a ruler and measure every distance, but it would then be not "freehand".

Study the reference in your head. Learn to see.

Look how I tried to get guidelines for the position and length of the different parts. the reference is its own ruler itself.

Try it!!
