96 taurus master cylinder
I have a 96 taurus gl just replaced the master cylinder went to bleed the brakes and its not building up any pressure any ideas what the hell is going on

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it? If not, it may take A LOT of pumping to get it to build pressure in the lines. Have you also checked for leaks in the system that would prevent it from building pressure? Why did you replace the master cylinder, was it for the same issue by chance? And do you just mean building pressure to bleed the brakes, or do you mean it seems like there is no power assist?

sorry shorod about the late post I had to replace the master cause the system had a huge pressure spike and blew out it and the two rear wheel cylinders its building pressure now
