If anyone noticed, lately I stopped being such a post-whore
. That's because I'm really busy with work and stuff. Well anyways, in the next couple of weeks I will probably be signing on with a company full time, and going to college part time this fall. I will be making very good money, so a newer car will be appropriate. I would probably buy this towards the end of the summer, early fall when prices on sports cars go down. I already narrowed it down to 5, but feel free to add more. Here are the criteria:1. Under $20k. 2. I would prefer a car 10 years or newer 3. 2 door > 4 door Here's what I came up with so far: 1. Nissan 350z (problem is it's kind of hard to find for $20k, especially a better model 2. Honda S2000 (I hate the gearing on that, 75 @ 4000 rpms in 6th) 3. Mazda RX8 (short gearing again, not much midrange grunt) 4. Evo (would have to spend more than $20k, plus, I'd like to stay away from 4 door) 5. Sti (see Evo)

Re: New car for me pretty soon
Drove a 350z today. Don't like it. Waaay too much noise at 60 mph. It's like a tire/buzzing noise. Not something I could live with.

Re: New car for me pretty soon
Gotta agree with Cassiesman, ///M3 Power is the way to go. They look beautiful in black...
a used C5 would be pretty nice too. Or a newer 240 with an S14 swap would be awesome too. EDIT: Maybe get the RX-8 and swap in the JDM 3 rotor engine (20B, I think?). Twin turbo, 3 rotors, nice body, can't go wrong. Wait, will this be a daily driver?
