hp gains???

I'm thinking about installing a walbro 255 hp in my 93 tsi awd, but i was wondering if this mod will actually result in any horsepower gains since i'm still running on my stock 14b turbo. I know that i'm gonna have to get an afpr.

my current mods are:
-2.5 downpipe
-2.5 exhaust
-2.5 test pipe
-Rewired stock fuel pump
-k/n filter
-mbc@15psi
-uicp

If I were you I would just add to what you have. The 225hp isn't shit. Build what you have unless you have major mechanical probs. a '90 talon tsi(same as gsx.) It has a VR4 engine swap, 660cc injectors, 50 trim turbo, 2nd gen MAF, front mount intercooler, and a few other dsm tricks, also stuff I don't talk about. I'ts boosting 1.8BAR. Vented to atmosphere. Runs low 12's on 1/4 mile. So, you can see how fast you can get that 4G63. Granted the VR4 has a different head, and a few differences there, but you just have to spend some time(and $$$$$$).

I don't see where you are going with this?

I believe the 14b can require more than even a rewired 1g pump. This is more like a supporting mod, so it won't add any horsepower except in that it allows you to run more boost.

Nothing to do with fuel pumps. It's almost as if hes in his own little thread, talking about absolutely nothing to himself. Why the hell would you swap a VR4 engine for a 4G63? That's like pissing money away. No reason to do that. Would that even fit?

Anyway, no you won't add any hp by upgrading your fuel pump. If your fuel system was not sufficient enough to give your monster enough fuel when it needed it, upgrading would allow it to chug it down a little easier.
