64' Chevy Sport Truck
Ok..Rookie here, so bear with me. Been out of modeling for awhile, so I thought my first model back would be a little old and new school. Model will have 502 cu motor, opening doors, working head/tail lights, and scratchbuilt chassis. Model will sit at ride height as in the picture. Body w/doors off. Wheels/Tires are from the Aoshima, Amistad R 19" (They actually measure 20" or so on 1/25 scale which is good!) Another view. Large exhaust in center will be changed a little. Chassis will be perimeter type with air bag suspension (hopefully I can make it functional) Haven't decided if it will be plastic or brass yet. Sketch of chassis so far. Scratchbuilt RAM-AIR type hood scoop. Hood will open in power reverse method. ![]() Bed cover sb and wheel wells had to be widened for rear tires. Interior coming along, kinda hit a wall with making the door jambs, etc..I want to make them as close to the real truck as possible Dash will use an updated round type of gauges.Haven't decided on the color yet, maybe something with some graphics? Glad I found this place...Some very nice models on here, and good tips. |

Not A Hoarder!

I'm not sure that the hood scoop shape goes with the hood shape...
I like the rest though!
