jdm or usdm with turbo charger?
which one would be better. doesn't the jdm engine produce more exhaust or is just dirtier? jdm also has higher compression ratio than the usdm. isn't that bad?

if you have a USDM motor, I would go with a USDM turbo, because the JDM turbo is made for the JDM motor, which may have a different compression ratio, or other specs. Its like slapping on a turbo that's made for a Prelude onto a Civic. It just won't work as well as one that's made specifically for your car.

You want lower compression for boost and the JDM motors have high Compression whereas most USDM are lower compression which is better for boosting.

Just ask MatT3T4...he'll tell wats good or not for turbo charging. I know for a fact that u can have high compression motor and turbocharge it. NOTHING IS WRONG with that either. Its all about tuning and A/F ratio. Just ask him

It also matters how much boost you are planning on using. If you're not going to use a lot, then the stock compression will be fine for either the JDM or USDM engines. I don't think there's that big of a difference between them. That being said, I just ordered some 9:1 JE Pistons cuz I'm gonna be running about 20PSI!

Yes you can have a relatively high compression and run a turbo. The high compression just means less boost. It doesn't necessarily mean less power though. Higher compression itself can make more power.

IT does not matter if you have a JDM or USDM Engine the Comp Ratio can always be changed on any motor. Get whatever you want. If you want JDM because that is the style you are going for then get a JDM motor but if you don't care and you want USDM then go that way also. IT does not matter.
