attn: 5L eater.. knock sensor

hey man

how much is a knock sensor??...the plug wire thing on it broke

its screwed into the back of the block and looks sorta like a valve rite?...
i had to use a fairly big socket (cant rem... 32 or so) to try n get it undone... but havent yet (couldnt get to it properly).. go to mechanics tomorrow n put my car on the hoist...

you get everything straightened out? Hows it running? I think this is an old post... It shouldn't be more than 40-50 bucks

In what currency? and is that for an genuine honda one?
And also what model B16a? There are three knock sensors, one for the non OBD cars, one for OBD I and one for OBD II.

Iv checked on a price for one form Honda here, and even if your talking US $ it was a lot more than 40-50bucks.

still havent sorted it out...

but its running perfect...

every now n then i pour in the octane boost & clean additive (its saying stops engine pining on it) in place of the knock sensor...

I got a b16a SIR-I in my CRX. My buddy got hired at honda so I asked him for a price and said he could get me one for 40-50 bucks. I dunno if he got a deal or if that was real price but that is what he told me and asked me if I needed one. It was legit too nothing stolen or anything like that, I don't believe in stealing ohh yeah US currency
