Time to clean the computer room....

as the tiny shift knob for my Tamiya S2000 just went flying past my head into a large bundle of cords, misc model parts, old bills and other clutter....

:sigh:

good thing I have nothing better to do today

sorry Jay...no such luck...I even looked thru the stack of windscreens that i have 1 S2000, 2 ITR, 1 Spoon CTR, 1 Alfa GTV, 1 LanEvoVII, no extra S2000 windscreens......

and i DID finish cleaning the computer room up even after I finally wrestled that pesky shiftknob into place....I dropped the thing 4 more times durning the installation

i don't understand, guys/girls, where do you get extra parts, or how do you not use them, or do you buy kits and "gut" them for the parts?!?!? i've been building 1/24 kit for about 10 years, and i never seem to be able to 'save' or whatever with the parts! i mean a windshield! how do you not use that?!

Most of my spare parts are from re-issue kits that have new parts from the original version of the kit, but they don't bother taking out the old parts...

most of my spare parts come from kits I buy at thrift shops. I also have what is left when I build a kit . Like the Revell Integra I have the 3 sets of Wheels, The other 2 wings. And I have a couple Nascar motors from kits my Cousin trashed.
