What supplies do I need to add LED's to my model?

What type of electronic supplies do I need? Could somebody tell me how to do it step-by-step?

I only know enough on the subject to speak in vauge generalities. I know you need a power source and some lights and some wire inbetween... But I don't know how to use resisitors, and that's why I burned out all my LEDs one by one...

Nice article, though. Here's a link to it in PDF form:

Now that was cool!! We had a guy show-up last year at one of our model shows with a police car that had 15 lights flashing like the current police strobe set-ups and it was an awesome site sitting there. His explanation to those of us listening (all of us) was a bit too detailed for a pointer to take home so this was the best tip I've gotten from this forum yet!! Now, where is that Crown Vic model at......

Seems to me the best place to hide the electrical bits is in the trunk. Some kits have engines, some don't; but I have yet to come across a 1/24 will full trunk detail...
