Question 4 spd tranny in a DX?????

Please help.... i'm looking 2 buy an 88-91 civic hb and i have seen 2 ads that claim it's a DX and has a 4spd tranny. Is this true or did only the base model come with the 4? How can i tell 4 sure that it's really a DX? If anyone knows of a cheap car 4 sale in the Bay Area, CA please let me know.

thanks,

Dustin

Save up your money or just look around for a Si HB if you can. They're alot easier to work with when it comes to wanting to swap the motor because it is REAL fuel injection unlike the DX's two point injection carb B.S. Sorry to flame but i dont know why honda even did that to the dx's.

it isn't hard to convert from dual point to multi at all. we had to do it with my old engine swap. all he needs is a wiring harness and an ecu. he just wants the 5 speed tranny. i have the ecu he needs for that
