Angry Mustang owner needs help and advice

Ok, I went to our basketball homecoming tonight at my school. I got there a little late and the place was packed. I was very lucky to get this spot in the parking lot. The spot though was by the road that runs by the school. It was either that spot or park down the block and walk a long way to the gym.

Anyway I park and go to homecoming and have a fairly good time. I get back outside and get in my car and notice big hunks of something on my windshield. I first thought somebody put shaving cream or whip cream on my car. I get out though and find out it's mud.

I looked and saw that somebody had gone off the road, backed up to my car, and spun their tires to cover it in thick mud. I was very embarrissed and pissed when driving out of the parking lot. People were looking at me, pointing, laughing, and other things that didn't make me feel good. I keep my car clean and try to keep it its best because I take pride in it. All that pride was almost gone when it looks like something a hillbilly would drive.

So instead of going to the homecoming dance or Deny's with everybody after the game I went to the car wash and spent a few bucks getting my car clean again. After all the mud was gone I then noticed that the little rocks in the mud caused scratches and chips in my paint.

Anyway, I want to know if any other Mustang owners in here have had this happen to them and if they have any advice for me. I would also like to know what they did, if they found out who it was, and how to keep your cool and not go and do something stupid. I know things could of been much worse but this still gets to me and it upsets me.

Re: Mustang owner needs help and advice

Personally, I'd smash a fuckers face in for doing that to my car. But..not to disrespect your car or anything..but it's got a little age on it and I'm sure you're not financing it..so just let it go man. If it really bothers you..take it to a body shop and get them to do a little touch up work on it. Have you done anything to anyone to make them do this to you??

1. Yes, it does have age on it but I've spent a couple of Saturdays putting detailing compound, polishes, and waxes on it to get it its best looking.

2. There are no payments left on it from when I got it if that's what you mean by financing.

3. I don't think the scratches and chips are bad enough for a body shop, I'll check it in the morning though to see real good what has been done to it, the only look I got was under the lights of the car wash

4. I haven't done a thing to anybody, there are a few people that just don't like me though and were jealous when I first drove this car to school
stupid how somebody would mess up your ride because they don't own it
like I have a friend that owns a 71 Chevelle, nicest guy on earth and he's had his car keyed twice in 1 year

#1. Age of a car has nothing to do with it nor does finiacing. Does this mean that guys who own original 64-70 Mustangs which are still in excellent but aged shape should just get over it because it's old and they own the car out right? And I know that is not what you meant but it was still a pretty dumb statement.

#2 Sorry to hear it man but the bottom line is stealing and vadalism of your car are too similiar situations. Both make you sick and neither one is there really something you can do about. Just try to let it get go and not let it get to you to much. Cause getting all sick/mad over it ain't gonna fix it now ya know???

Re: Mustang owner needs help and advice

man that really blows...no one has ever done anything to my car except for one time i kinda like backed off in a big ditch with my trailblazer and some dude had to put his weight on the front of my truck so the front wheels could get traction (they were off the ground) and it scratched it up a little but yeah thats my fault for being a dumb ass i guess.

You outta just go to a body shop to get them to touch it up...they do it for free sometimes...

Know how you feel as years ago when I had a nice 79 V8 Mustang (car was only about 6yrs old at the time) many of the similar things happened to me - the hardest part is trying to be the bigger person & letting it go. I took a lot of pride in my car in high school and now many years later when I look back I have the last laugh knowing the ones who were responsible haven't amounted too much as adults. Its difficult to swallow your pride and walk away - in the end your a bigger & better person for it. As the old saying goes "what goes around comes around" and some day they will get theirs.......it just might not be tomorrow.

1. No I didn't find out and will probably not find out who did it, I have a feeling though a couple of the ag/ffa (farmers, country kids) kids might of done it but I have no proof, see where I live trucks rule and most kids would rather have a big 4X4 than a Mustang, Corvette, ect, and they trash cars like mine saying "only thing that car can do is do little tricks on the road, can't haul anything or go offroad" there are a few that say "hey man you have a nice car" but thats all, just a car to them

anyway I know a few ag guys who are like this and they dont like me, I could see them doing this to my car but I have no proof or evidence that they ever did

2. as for doing the same to their car it wouldn't be worth it, they drive trashed up work trucks that already have scratches and dents in them, I'd have more to lose b/c they could do more to my car than I could to theirs

3. yeah they are jealous I'm pretty sure of that, I've had my 86 since October and I drove my dad's 90 every once in a while since my sophmore year, my dad and I both clean, wax, polish, ect to keep them their best looking, last year an ag kid (which happens to be my cousin, one of the kids who doesnt like me) got an RS Camaro (junk) and all of a sudden all the ffa hicks were pro-sports car, it was the "fastest" and "quickest" thing out there, well week 1 he broke a couple of belts hopping the thing into the parking lot every morning, week 2 he blew the clutch

I just happen to run into him one saturday night while I was cruising, I was at a stop light and he was coming up behind me, the light turned green and I was taking off like normal but he was going to try and blow past me, anyway right when he got up behind me I just punched it and left him behind, then he gets beside me later on in the night and he floors it, well I give my car the gas to stay up with him and he's sitting there with a smile b/c his V6 is keeping up with my 5.0 (so he thinks) well I smile and wave to him as I mash the gas the rest of the way and left him behind

Anway I'm sorry for typing so much but I figured I'd give you guys a little information on things. I'm pretty sure the hicks did it but I really don't know. If they did, so what, I'll be graduating college by the time they'll be making head cashier at the local wal-mart.

Angry

You know, one of the biggest problems today are dumbass kids that cant respect other people's shit. I used to be one of those kids. When I was in highschool, I drove a low 12 second 89 GT. One day, I was driving down the highway and blew my radiator cap. Anyone that has been in that situation before knows, you need to get to a service station, and quick... So here I am, getting off the highway with my temp gauge hitting the 3/4 mark, and this numbnuts in a Mystic Cobra comes pulling up, trying to race. I just waved him on, so he decided to cut me off, and give me a brake check.... I tried (I swear!) to let it go, by just going around him, but of course, being a Cobra, an me not trying to overheat my car, he pulled back in front of me, and gave me another brake check.... This happened 3 more times before i said fuck it, and down shifted thruogh the shoulder past him.... On my way back home, i decided to drive through the side streets, looking for a Mystic Cobra parked... and lucky me, i found him. now if you didnt know, there are only a small handful of these cars in any given area. Since the car i found was within 3 miles of my incident, and his hood was still warm, i decided that he was the one....

You ever try putting balogne and Coke on a painted surface? Eats the paint right off the metal.... I gave that guy a custom paint job he will never forget....

But those days are long gone, and I would kill the poor bastard that even did that to my beater pick up, much less my $10,000 paint job on my cobra......

Do you just drive around with coke and balogna or what? That's incredibly fucked up to do that to someone even if he was kind of being a dick.
