Question Rebuilding a 1991 1.8L engine

Here's a quick question for everyone. I have a 1991 Escort GT and want to rebuild the 1.8L engine. It has 233 000 kms on it and is burning oil. The compression on the cylinders is about 130-135 PSI. Have any of you done this, is it difficult and does anyone know if there is a company that makes an engine rebuild kit for this model and year?

Cheers.

I don't know. But I would like to know if there are any engine rebuild kits for the 1.9, 1.8, or the 1.8 HO. If you find out, let me know.

Thanks
