Question Replacing My Convertible Top...

I have a 99 mustang convertible and I am interested in replacing the top since it has become worn in certain places. I was wondering if it was possible to get a cloth top replacement instead of the canvas tops that come stock. I have a triple white mustang, and I live in NJ right near NYC. Basically, it is impossible to keep the top looking clean and bright white. I was wondering if the cloth top was better or easier to keep clean and if so if it was possible to get one installed on my car. Thanks for the help in advance...

The problem with ya top getting dirty is not that it is Canvas but that it's white. My bro-in-law has a triple white 04GT 5-speed, he since day one has used some special stain resistor on his top and it still looks new. I'll ask him what it is next time I see him.

the base and gt models come with a canvas top, which i have. but the new, 04 cobra convertibles come with the same cloth top that the new jaguars come with, i was just wondering if it was easier to clean and keep that way...
