Here's the motley crew from yesterday's ACME NNL 2004 model car show. We smashed all records for attendance and models on display...722 total. Next year we want to see more A/F faces! Tonio, we missed you!

Eric (Mach 1 2003) won a top ten award and the ACME President's award for the best ACME member's model-that award is voted on by the president and the past recipients of the award who are not eligible after winning it. This year it was unanimous between the president, Veyron, and myself that Eric's Shelby Mustang would win the award. Next year Eric will join us in voting for the president's award. Let's see if we can keep it in the A/F family!

Atlanta GA metro area...the show is in Smyrna.

We had folks from as far as New England, Canada, and California, and points in between...at least 8 from Ohio, a few from Chicago and Wisconsin. Of course we have a lot of participation locally and from neighboring states. Our hospitality room on Friday night was packed, it was a bit less hectic last evening.

If you need motivation to get building again... go to one of these shows. There are so mnay awesome models and energetic people that you can't help but be motivated afterwards. I want to build everything in my collection right now... lol

Nobody heard the story behind the picture...it was funny, well I thought it was. It took 5-10 minutes for the guy to figure out how to use the camera.

Is there a date set for the one next year? or the next one.

I was wanting to go to that one, but it was my girlfriends birthday, and I took her to a modelcar show on our 1 year anniversary, so i figured i wouldnt ruin another special day.
