This has to be one of my favorite cars ever made. The Hasegawa kit does it justice, though at first I wasn't too wild about the red plastic or the large number of sink marks in the body. After getting it painted in Cobra Colors Grigio Alloy, I was stoked-the color works incredibly well on this car...cool, classy, sexy...and not slutty (thanks Ollie
)! This model really represents this car well...I couldn't ask for it to have come out better. I've been working on it over the past week.Progress Thread - Grigio Alloy Miura SV Once past bodywork, the kit goes together reasonably well. The suspension can be slightly tricky (pay attention to the build sequence numbers), and to aid final assembly I did not glue the interior to the chassis, figuring a way to get it inside w/o stretching the rocker area much at all. The chassis itelf snaps in place. The interior went together totally w/o drama, the metal transfers really spiff it up. It was a fun build. Seems like everyone I know has built one or is building one (or another one). Glad I've got another one to build as a standard Miura, combining parts from this kit, the Esci version, and the body from the Imai...a proper narrow body Miura (Veyron has built one). ![]() Here you get a better look at how I did the windshield trim to look like the real car, w/flat black paint and thin strips of Bare Metal Foil, carefully applied: ![]() The metal transfers really class up the interior and exterior.

Re: Complete: Hasegawa Miura SV
Looks great! The color is classy but the car still appears muscular, nice!
