Rotary Mustang

Im going to put a 13B into a 86 Mustang LX. Ive seen plenty of people say that its not enough torque for a mustang, but an 1986 RX7 only weighs 100lbs less than an 86 Mustang. They are within inches of the same length. They only reason it might not have as good handling is the perfect 50/50 weight distidution that the RX7 has and the Mustang doesn't. As long as the mustang is lowered, its wouldnt really make a hugh difference. I'm not trying to piss anyone off and give the mustang a bad name. I just want to do something different, Ive been planning it for a while, so this winter im going to start the project.

Ok....... good luck?

Makes me wonder why so many people swap Ford 302's into 80's RX-7's... Oh yea I know why.... run from the rotary!

Re: Rotary Mustang

Interesting idea, and i dont think anyone's done it before.

On the other hand, a rotary is not gonna have any of the ballsy sound that your old 5.0 had.
