Finished-Revell Porsche GT-1 EVO LeMans #25

Just got the pics of this one. The body fit was terrible but I manageed to get it down to a decent build. Detail was awesome. built as the #25 Mobil Oil White car. Heres the pics.

Seat belts made from Fabric, sorry for blurry indoor pics.

and the Dashboard

Let me know what you think.

Cool!

maybe you can try to play with the focus on your camera for close-up pictures (if you have a digital camera try using the little flower button for close ups if you haven't done so already)

Nice model shame about the blurry pics! I take it this is the Revell kit?
Did you paint it according to the instructions? If so they should have called the mirrors out as blue and the panels behind the cockpit should be black. But enough of my rivet-counting, a very nice build.

My camera doesnt ahve the flower button. Its an HP with 5x zoom, but when I zoom, it makes everything super blurry.

And I didn't have any blue paint at the time to spray the mirrors so i left them. The instructions actually did call for the panels to be white.

I do believe that X-2 is white....right?
Anyways, i made a horrible fit kit look nice.
Oh, and i do still have some black painting to do on the rear part.

Okay, poor explanition on my part. I meant behind the cockpit along the sides, behind the windows. As well as on the top rear of the car, check this picture.

Interesting, do Revell use Tamiya paint codes?

ok, maybe try to put your camera close to your subject without using the zoom. Just a suggestion.

Having both the revell and tamiya kit at hand I can confirm that this picture is from the tamiya instruction, the revell kit calls for a flat black surface with semi-gloss black on the bars.

Re: Finished-Revell Porsche GT-1 EVO LeMans #25

i used the tamiya instructions for more realism. I do still need to paint the black parts now that i look at it. And as for the camera problems, thats how i took them. Right next to the subject, no zoom or anything.

Re: Finished-Revell Porsche GT-1 EVO LeMans #25

i just finished this kit too, very bad fitting. my biggest problem was with the front windscrean, it was to small to fit in the pannel!!! and the blue porshce window decal wouldnt lay flat, u did great with this kit.
