My first diecast! (progress)

Heres my first die cast ... im sure that you know what it used to look like .. the original was an orange JADA toys celica .... im now going puer TRD on this .. im going white with cf hood.... etc . .. also im going to re-do the interior black and white .. with red racing seats ..... wondering how to set up the audio system .... never done that before so ideas and tips would be GREAT!
Here they are so far!

just to let u know, i recently used that white duplicolor and it is very dull, but i havnt used clear or wax yet. good luck tho

That kit comes with black with chrome lip racing hart cr's right?

I just tried putting my first coat of paint on ... but the paint was spraying out like a fire hose lol ... so i went back and im about to do my first coat ... how many of final coats do you guys normally do?

Hey heres some more progress .... ive put about 2 coats on now ... sorry the pics were inside .. but really bad weather today .... also i was wondering what you guys use to make your walls for your subs and your sub boxes and all your custom audio ... thanx!

everyone says uses styrene sheets but im a poor bastard n im using cardboard right now and i put a carpenters glue and i sand it down nice and smooth then im painting it its my custom sound system for my hummer not done yet tho:P

Better find another hobby then. Models are expensive, you go cheap you get shit, you go expensive you get quality. I remember someone doing the same thing as you and man, did it look horrible. I say just spend $3 and get some CA and Styrene.

You should get rid of the holes where the spoiler was though. Fill them with bondo or epoxy putty.

Fill those nasty holes. I also would suggest a new intercooler. Otherone looks so fake.

I do like the paintscheme though!

A new intercooler would look good. As far as the holes for the spoiler, I think he might be putting the wing back on, other wise he might have already filled the holes.

was going to be putting another wing on ... but have yet to find the one i like ... i would like to find like and evo wing or someting .... but ya i have yet to do any engine work and an intercooler is on the list no dout!

Leave the wing off. And you can find an intercooler lots of places.
