Update on Tamiya's site - Impreza WRC 04

Finally it's been put on Tamiya's website. Hopefully the 350Z JGTC will follow. IMO it looks fantastic here and Tamiya quality and innovation seems to get better all the time.

Cool!

But I predict that rear wing will become as infamous as the JGTC castrol NSX front section... painting wise.

Reading the thread: "Naw, Tamiya will have some clever assembly order so that painting is no sweat."

Reading the site: "Oh. Crap."

Re: Update on Tamiya's site - Impreza WRC 04

But the ride height and rims are exactly as they should be for the car that won the first ever Japanese round of the WRC. If you want something different, choose another rally.

Rear wing shouldn't be too bad, carbon fibre decaling rather than painting would be the way to go. Maybe would have been easier if they could've broken it down into seperate pieces.

Looks like real chrome taillight bezels, instead of foil sticker like the street STi.

Or some company with the equipment will offer a pre cut carbon fiber decal sheet so all of the parts of decal fit just right. They may even offer a paint masking kit for it.

David
