Stupid question...
Hi. Sorry, but I'm new to this msg board. To get to the point, my friend owns a '98 Mustang 3.8L, MT. Their family is big on racing, and they say they are planning on dropping their Boss 302 in the '98 Stang. I was just curious, but I didn't think that the Boss engine would work in a newer model, but the familly claims it will. Any comments on this? Hopefully you will prove me wrong because i'd love to see this work. Any info would help. Thanks.

usually a 'family into racing' is willing or able to make the modifications (and there aren't that many) necessary to put a windsor motor in a latemodel mustang. it's not the slightest bit impractical for those iwth the means, and i think it would be fun.

Possible yes, easy no. So like said before if they know what they are doing and they have the means they probableycan. If they think it is an easy swap then they don't know what they are talking bout.
