Well there are two requirements for such a swap

1/ A degree in automotiver enginering and access to the right tools. e.g. welder etc.

or

2/ A bottomless wallet.

The rest you will have to make up as you go along, its not what I would call a common swap.

I have a feeling that it would be pushing it for space under the bonnet. Even if if fit, I wouldn't want to be lugging all that weight around in a car with torsion bar suspension. EW2 engines can be built to reliably put out 150bhp (popular 1G conversion) - as these are the standard motors, you don't have to worry about engineering requirements. Even better, the JDM Si 3G was powered by a ZC with 130bhp standard. That would be my choice for an engine swap.

I was about to come back and suggest a ZC swap.
Since its a D series engine its a bolt in swap, but you need to set the car up for Fuel Injection if it isnt already.

Iv raced a 3g Si with a ZC and basic bolt ons, intake exhaust etc, and he actualy did bloody well. I laucnhed at about 3,000 and he kept with me to about 6,000 thenI just pulled away from him. So I short shifted into 2nd and the same thing happened, he stayed with me to about 6,000.

Drop in a ZC and turbo it, then you would have a fast little car!

Ive seen an H22 into a CRX ~ and the work involved does not make the car a daily driver, as even a 5 mph bump in the front and your going to crumple the whole front end in!! So getting it into an even slightly smaller 3rd gen ~ oh man, WHY? You could get a ZC & Turbo it and have the same power without the damn weight increase!
