Finding a project mustang?

I've started my hunt for foxbody this morning and i havent been having much luck. I'm looking for a barely running, decent bodied mustang hopefully stock...where's some of the best places to look? Im checking online and the classifieds, but as far as going for a drive and carhunting, where would be a good place to try and find one in such condition?

Honestly the best way would be to make friends with local guys who drive fox-bodies. They always tend to know where someone is selling a fox-body in all sorts of conditions. Who is selling used parts at awesome prices etc..,

Also maybe you have a local/regional car forum online and there are some Stang owners on there and they will have some info for you. This is another awesome way.

Re: Finding a project mustang?

Exactly!

It took me a while to find the car I was looking for. I searched on line, classified's, car mags, dealers till I finally found what I was looking for. Like GTStang said, start talking to local Mustang guys, they always know of someone selling something.

Re: Finding a project mustang?

i looked for about 3 months before i found one that fit my criteria. But they are out there, and they will be had for very little if you look hard enough.
