CV axle repair

Anyone have a link to a site that has new shafts? Seems my clicking noise was coming from the inner cv which I did not notice had a torn boot and grit found it's way in there and wasted the cv joint. Nissan is a rip off since they want ~$400 for a new axle but a Drivetrain Specialists in Las Vegas will rebuild it for $119 with new boots(24 hour turn around)....tried the warranty route but got rejected. :finger4: so i am exploring my options, any ideas?

For a complete axle ?

Their site is broken right now so I can't check.
Do you have a direct link ?

As far as I know, that is for the complete halfshaft (REMANUFACTURED).

http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBr...ACTURED%29+CCT

I know that halfshafts for my civic are usually ~$60 at Autozone stores.

NAPAonline.com has them for $134 + $93 core at:

The Autozone listing says it is for "either side" but that doesn't make sense. Isn't one shaft longer than the other?

That's a good price, good enough to carry a spare.

I've been keeping an eye on my local Pull-N-Save for dead Frontiers and Pathfinders, but they don't get them in very often. I wouldn't mind having an entire spare front end, just in case.

Autozone.com is still giving an error

I like this on the NAPA site...
Warranty: Limited Lifetime

Pull-n-Save must be very similar to Pick-a-Part up here? Same kinds of deals and pricing.
