Talking New to site, Have gear ratio Q: GS-T vs. GSX

Well by now you should know I have a GSX

My question pertains to the internal gear ratio of the FWD tranny VS. the AWD.

My sister in law has a 95 GS-T, and Mine is a 95' GSX.

At 4000 my sisters car does 100 mph, and 4000 in mine I am going 80.

What gives? I am a mechanic and know that gear ratio usually has a hand in rpm/speed.

But is there some real difference?

Well so far love the site and my GSX, happy dsm owner for 5 months now!!!

Kelly
