Arrow Hey Mike and everyone else here

how about we do something similar to the plastic modeling and having a thread stickied at the top with links to threads dedicated to certain class of car pictures. for example a thread for

4x4's (all those lifted)
Dubbed Cars (big rims, tv's, etc..)
Dubbed SUVs (big rims, tv's, etc..)
Dubbed Trucks(big rims, tv's, etc..)
Vintage Diecasts(oldies but goodies with little or no mods)
Luxury Diecasts (gucci, tv's, rich peoples cars)
Tuner Diecasts(Import racers, flashy decals etc..)

etc....- doesnt have to be those titles

it would make a great reference for those looking for ideas or just want to browse through pics of what we do.

Re: Hey Mike

I dont think its a good idea, I think its good where its at.

I think There should be a..

"show Off" Part, where you post out of the box Die-Casts

and a..

Progress/Completed Project ares, similar to the modeling forums.

Re: Hey Mike

What about also scale size? Such as 1/18, 1/24, 1/43 etc.
Also I think that would be a good idea since their is a diffrent varity of diecast cars.

Re: Re: Hey Mike

I'm all in favor of this idea but it would require someone to monitor the links. It would be difficult to keep all the pages photos up. I know some of my older stuff has dissapeared from the forums so if try to view it now the photos won't appear.

Re: Hey Mike

Sounds good, but all the DUB stuff sounds like a waste. 95% of the models here just have new rims. Im not sure what I agree with.

Hell if you want to make the thread, so you can continue editing it, I'll sticky it. It just seems like and ungodly amount of work.

Im also going to change the title of this thread.

Thus we should make this thread be under the control of someone who cares. If one person is dedicated to maintaining it then it should turn out ok.

Re: New Sticky Idea

i will gladly maintain it

and about the links, we should have to post the images on AF gallery and use that link. that way you wont have to worry about space on other websites

it just popped into my head that we should start out with a single thread that will hold all pictures, and when we have enough pics to divide them into seperate groups, then will seperate them into their own threads

oh yeah thanks for changing the thread subject

i think it should have those stickies the when you click on one it will go to 1:64 and lower, 1:2X, 1:1X
so itll be like tuners > 1:64 and lower
1:2X
1:1X > My 1:18 car

Re: New Sticky Idea

that could be done once we get enough pics. but for now it should be

1:18
1:24
1:32 (or what ever modifiers are)
1:64

then once we get enough pics we can break it down more
